Ministry of Education of Mongolia and the French Embassy in Mongolia announce the joint 2026–2027 scholarship program

The Ministry of Education of Mongolia and the Embassy of the French Republic in Mongolia jointly announce a competitive selection for scholarships, under the intergovernmental joint scholarship arrangement between the two countries, for Mongolian citizens to pursue master's-level study at French higher-education institutions in the 2026–2027 academic year. The program aims to expand bilateral cooperation, prepare competitive Mongolian citizens, and support partnerships between universities and research organizations. 1. Level of study and fields • Level: Master's programs (in French and English). • Fields: Applicants who will study in directions aligned with Mongolia's development and construction needs—and especially with the "Leading development and in-demand professions" approved by Government Resolution No. 115 of 2023—will have an advantage. 2. Benefits for selected students • Exemption from French visa fees; • A monthly stipend of EUR 860 (intended for food and housing costs); • The right to receive the first stipend promptly after arrival in France; • Priority when registering for student residences at French higher-education institutions; • Exemption from university registration fees; • Enrollment in health insurance in France. • Note: The scholarship does not cover all costs; applicants should expect to provide additional personal financing.
